The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Hey ya'll! Happy Monday morning to you :) My week is just getting started but that's alright - GBU allows me to recap my week.

Incorporating Color

The Good
Oscar spent Thursday through this morning with me. I've loved having him here. He even wrote me a whole notebook about all the things he loves about me. Super cute, right? Well, I did this same thing for him months ago, so it's not original, but still. A super duper EC for effort and cuteness :)

The Bad
He'll be gone soon! We'll be driving up to Trenton around 11:30am for him to catch his train back to Manhattan. Waaah :(

He got his gorgeous long hair cut yesterday and I'm still recovering. She thinned it too much so it sticks up a bit, but he's adorable no matter what.

The Ugly
I've gained some ugly weight since Oscar's been here. This happens basically every time he comes, because I don't exercise and I eat crappy food. Elise is going to be spending some massive time the rest of the summer exercising!

Oscar is not only leaving today, but tomorrow he's off to El Salvador until university resumes. I'll barely be able to talk to him, and as the gang violence in his particiular area is getting worse, I'm going to be a nervous wreck.

  1. The "good" is good, the "bad" is sad, and the "ugly", well, we think it's kinda beautiful. It shows how comfortable you two are together and reflects a focus on spending time enjoying yourselves instead of having to spend it with the gym. ;)

    Happy seeing beautiful!

  2. Yay to the good! I'm sympathising with the ugly, we just spent a weekend back in England where I made the most of being back there and put on a ton of weight and we go back again in a few weeks - so I too will be hitting the gym! And boo to the bad! Sure he'll be back before you know it - don't worry too much! Do something else cute like the notebook ready for when he comes back again, that's what I used to do when Cesar and I lived apart and I had weeks without seeing him!
