Hey there ladies and gents.

Another week of Blog Star is here, and I must say I'm a little sad that I don't have any questions to answer!

Anywho, I guess I'll settle with trying to win
over your hearts with my unsurmountable charm
and endless wit, attempting to capture you long enough
to make you fervently click the "Follow" button
on my side bar.
Actually, I will not be doing any of this.
It's not really my style.
I'll simply introduce myself, the characters in my life,
and the little odds and ends that
are the foundation of my little blog here :)

First and foremost, my name is Elise.

I'm a junior at the University at Albany (technically),
where I double major in Social Psychology & English,

as well as minor in Women's Studies.

Although the university considers me a junior,

it's really only my second year living in New York.

I'm a Jersey girl by trade - the nature-y part, not the polluted one with Snooki lookalikes.

I decided to drown myself in debt by pursuing dreams to leave the state.

I'm such a winner. /not.

This beautiful Salvadorean kissing me is Oscar.

He's my boyfriend of no-time-at-all,

and we've been together for quite a number of months.

He's too much like me.

Except he's more intelligent but lacks all common sense.

He treats me like an angel with golden wings.

My future-cardiologist is a keeper, for sure.

Let's see.

I'm a vegan.

That's pretty important.

And a Christian.

Scared? Don't be.

It's made me a better, humbler person.

I love my walk with the Lord.

And I love the LGBT community almost as much.

I'm a feminist, I'll have you know.

Let's all be open-minded :)

I have a really strong passion for life.

I'm silly, I make a lot of faces, and I love making friends.

I trip over my own two feet a lot.

I think I should make it an Olympic sport.

Win the gold and all that jazz.

I love literature and editing.

I love education - I'll be teaching a Feminisms 101 class in the Spring!

I have a serious soft spot for animals,

and I sincerely lack a traceable sense of humor on most days.

I blog about attempts to DIY - which I do, but forget to post.

I blog about my Biblical teachings and thoughts about the Big Man.

I blog about my adventures as a fish out of water in New York.

I blog about my love life - the ups and downs of being indecisive and selfish.

I blog about my passions, my desires, my dreams, my hopes, and my insecurities.

I blog about a lot and about nothing at all. :)

I don't blog to be interesting, but I guess that's how the big girls make it.
