I do way too many link-ups. But this one was in-depth, and I really like things like that.
And exposure never really hurt, as I'm still a new froggy to the bloggy world :)
1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?
Oh, not long at all! I actually had to go to my page to look and see how long it's been. Lame Elise, lame. I've only been posting since May, and I came along because my good friend told me that Blogger was a great community to just vent to and write out whatever was bouncing around in my noggin'. I don't think it's changed too much; my beginning posts I was very hell bent on making reviews for things. I shall pick that up again.
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
I do, not did. I attend SUNY Albany in New York. I'm currently a double major with Social Psychology and English, as well as a double minor in Italian and Women's Studies. But I'm dropping Italian and hopefully will be one step closer to graduating by my junior year. (I'm currently a sophomore.)
3. Where have you traveled?
Not including through novels or hearts? I've traveled outside of the United States twice - to Canada and Bermuda. I've been to quite a few states and share a joint residency with Jersey (south) and New York.
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
Providing this is like, lotto millions-type of lottery, I'd buy a house in South Carolina for my father. He wants to move so badly and I want nothing more for him to be able to retire. He works two jobs to provide for my college education, an apartment, two cars, cell phones... He's a soldier without armor. Truly.
I clearly have too many pet peeves to narrow it down to "biggest," but I'll list three of my top annoyances.
When people talk about how yummy it is to eat (insert animal here) and try to put their food in my face. (I'm a vegan.)
When people speak about subjects in which they are clearly not properly educated.
When people are excessively repetitive in their writing.
Alice in Wonderland, the original.
Water. I don't drink alcohol or soda, and I quite enjoy tea, but I prefer me some H2O.
I feel like this is such a sterotypical-Christian answer, but I really do love getting into my Bible and listening to Christian music. I feel so close to my God. Otherwise I really dig word searches.
Plato's Closet. Is that super cheap of me? They have a lot of really nice clothes in there for good prices! And not only could I get myself a nice wardrobe, but I know a lot of missionaries who would gladly take clothes I give them to countries like Haiti for the people there. OH. And I love Target. Maybe Target.
I don't often get embarrassed! I struggled with this for a fifteen day challenge I recently did. Today I walked into a doorway. That was kind of funny.
11. What day would you love to relive again?
This question! I blogged about this.
I really can't think of an actress that reminds me of me. Maybe Emma Stone? Because I can be really awkward sometimes but still quite lovely.
13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
Actual working place? In high school I worked at JCPenney. That was a waste of money fun. At university I'll teach a Feminisms class in the Spring and also be working as a Research Lab Assistant... but they're not paying jobs.
14. Show us a picture from high school or college.
This is from college. Maria (my roommate) lifted Oscar (my guy) up on her shoulders, showing off her cheerleading skills. I'm to the left.
15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?
Croatia to visit my relatives. Or Verona, Italy. I'm a Shakespeare kid.
My family doesn't take photos together, so you just get me! :)
17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
Hopefully completing my Masters degree in psychology; having my first child, preferably a girl; possibly being engaged. Dreaming big!
I'm from Jersey too! And I LOVE that you count south Jersey as a totally different place..it really is!
