Sometimes, Always v. 1

Sometimes... I get really discouraged about financial instabilities.

Always... I need to remember that God will always provide for me and my family, for in Matthew it reads, "So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need."

Sometimes... I don't feel like eating the right way.
Always... In order to be healthy and happy, I need to overcome the want of pleasure food.

Sometimes... I'm way too interested in Swimming in the Olympics because it reminds me of an exboyfriend/best friend.
Always... I can let it bring me back to watching him race in high school, and of high school memories in general, as long as I know where I stand in my heart.

Sometimes... Christian friends who go to Christian colleges make me feel inadequate going to a non-Christian university.
Always... I remember that God's plans for us are different and that a non-Christian university is best suited to the work that makes me happy and that He wants me to do.

Sometimes... I don't agree with stupid decisions made by sports teams.
Always... I remain loyal to my team and its best players, no matter where they get traded to.

Sometimes... I get tired of waiting.
Always... I look to a hopeful future.

  3. I'm going to a non Christian college (first time in my whole life I'm not in a private school) and I actually like it. I feel like it's a good opportunity to reach others and connect with non believers! :)

  4. I'm going to a huge huge huge university....praying God leads me to a group of His that I can depend on. (I love my sunday school here at home, it'll be hard to leave).
I hear you about money....God WILL provide :) He always does.

  5. Wow, I nodded my head to literally every single one of your Sometimes/Always (except lacrosse reminds me of my high school ex boyfriend, haha). Totally agree on the financial thing, and TOTALLY agree on the Non-Christian college thing. Sometimes, I feel like I would be in such a different place in life if I had gone to a Christian college. But, I love the person that going to a Non-Christian college has made me to be. And I wouldn't change a thing :)
