Calling All Prayers

Not to throw out my personal business or anything
but it's kind've my blog, right?

My brother failed a drug test
and this morning he was sentenced to a year
in jail.

Our whole family is pretty distraught,
and I just keep telling my parents to
have faith in God's plans.

But still -
all prayers would be incredibly appreciated
if you can find time.

  4. Definitely praying for you and your family.
A couple of weeks ago, my pastor was teaching from John 16:17-33 and he said something that has kind of become my motto when I am having a bad day or I hear about others. He said "storms will always come, but you will be there to watch them go."
John 16:33 says "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Our faith is always going to be tested with situations like these, but we need to stay focused on Jesus. He knows best and everything will be all right in the end because he has ALREADY overcome the world.
I know things seem tough right now, but just try to stay positive and keep praying. It will be all right, hun. :]
