It's OK Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK....

That I'm sad my boyfriend left campus, even though I spent two consecutive weeks with him.

That it took me a few weeks to really talk to my new roommate at university.

For me to be both annoyed & excited waiting for my lap top to *finally* come in.

That I have ZERO idea what my Poetry teacher is speaking about in class.

To leave old groups of friends that are unhealthy behind and find new ones.

Not to hate sororities and fraternities as much as I used to.

To believe that most of the sor/fra on my campus are promoting future alcoholics.

To be late on my period nearly ten days now. Not really okay.

That I'm sat in the library on a computer simply to blog and talk to Oscar on facebook.

That I'm finding a new church and old-new youth group at campus and leaving my home one behind.

That I don't want to find pictures to make this all pretty.

That I have a  giveaway going on here (ends in four days!!).

That I just did a shameless plug in.

That I added photos in anyway.

It's OK Thursdays

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay...

That I haven't finished packing and I leave at 3:30am tonight for university.

That I couldn't say goodbye to some friends; God has His reasons.

That possibly two people incredibly important to me won't be joining me this semester.

That I have to leave at 3:30am tonight for university.

That I really just need to get away from Jersey.

That I'm pretty broke.

That my closet expanded by like 786487 articles of clothing since I've been home.

That I haven't done this linkup in two weeks.

That I've been lenient with my workouts lately. Plenty o' time for that at uni.

That I call it "uni" and Allie says I sound English.

That all I want to eat is yogurt and Carob covered rice cakes.

That I cried a lot last night for the first time in months.

That I need to do laundry but my dad didn't leave me the laundromat card.

That Angel dyed my hair last night and the colour isn't where I want it to be.
(Not her fault)

That I just want a hug from Noel, laughs from Melissa, and a kiss from Oscar.

That I'm one step closer to graduating early!

That I'm giving everything to God this year and praying for the best.

Shh, shh -- It's OK.

It's OK.....

... That anyone and everyone who mentions Chick Fil A on my news feed gets kicked off of it.

... That I told my ex I loved him tonight, because he's still my best friend,
and I knew how I did and didn't mean it.

... That I send Oscar recordings of me singing horribly to Colbie Caillat songs.

... That I'm super duper awkward when I record myself talking.

... That it was gross out and so I couldn't participate in day one of the #photoaday challenge.

... That I had too much bread today (yesterday?), because I can make up for it tomorrow.

... That I have the bladder of a pregnant woman. Or ninety-year-old.

... That I question the boundaries of love (I'm writing a post about this soon!)

... That I'm both excited and unsettled about leaving for uni in less than a month.

... That I'm letting God control my financial and friend instabilities.

... That I just saw a preview for Rogue River and I'm like WHAT.

... That my baseball team traded two of our best players for nothing.

Just kidding. That last one is not okay. ;)

It's OK Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay...

To be concerned about the people who persecute me.

To buy (vegan) cookie dough ice cream when I'm trying to lose weight and tone up.

To get two hours of sleep and look the way I do when going to pick my guy up from the train station.

To not wear a bra around my house because HONESTLY, WHO IS LOOKING!?

To obsess over one day owning a sugar glider family.

To sit around all day and listen to music and talk to God.

To stare at my dad when he thinks a waiter is hitting on him because the waiter drew a ketchup smiley face in a bowl and gave it to him (this is part of their job; we all got one).

To procrastinate reading 200 articles for my Feminisms class.

To be doing this instead of getting ready to leave.

To delete immature facebook comments so that younger kids on your page don't get exposed to hateful words.

To laugh at yourself when you trip over a dust ball.

To freak out in the car when a green head invades your personal space.

To realize this is my fiftieth post, woot woot!

:)
